Monitoring and evaluation

Monitoring can be defined as a continuing function that aims to provide the management and main stakeholders of an ongoing intervention with early indications of progress, or lack thereof, in the achievement of results. Evaluation is a selective exercise that attempts to systematically and objectively assess progress towards and the achievement of an outcome [10]

Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS)

Any local or outside support that aims to protect or promote psychosocial well-being and/or prevent or treat mental disorder [4]

Humanitarian settings

Areas affected by a broad range of emergencies, including natural disasters, armed conflicts including wars, and technological and industrial disasters

Low and middle-income countries (LMIC)

Classification of countries in accordance with estimations of Gross National Income
