Visit 1, Day 1

Education session

First visit

New Patients: rapport building, patient history, chief compliant and exam, collection of samples for laboratory test, treatment, follow-up appointment for those given treatment or samples taken for lab test

Patients in need of health services identified in partnership with CHW

Follow-up Visit 1, Day 10

Education session

Completion of a course of antibiotics typically requires 7-10 days.

New Patients: see Visit 1

 

Follow-up visit: evaluation of treatment (adherence, symptoms), take culture, revise treatment if needed, patient counseling and education on reproductive health and mental health

 

Follow-up visit 2, Day 14

Education session

Culture results are available after three days

New Patients: see Day 1

 

Follow-up visit: assess health status, provide/discuss test results, treatment, counseling and referral.

*this clinic visit is for those women who have unresolved symptoms of STI after Follow-up Visit 1.

Follow-up visit 3, Day 24

Education session

Treatment completed after 10 days

New Patients: see Day 1

 
 

Follow-up visit: evaluate treatment and patient health, refer case to health facility if problems persist
